No. SeasonLaunch works on its own, independently of Shopify: sign up, upload your product spreadsheet and photos, and generate your presentation. The Shopify app is an alternative for merchants who would rather build everything from the products already in their store.

Not when you use the Shopify app — SeasonLaunch builds your presentations straight from the products, variants, images and metafields in your Shopify store. When you use SeasonLaunch independently, you upload an Excel file instead, with photos sourced from links in the spreadsheet, a public Google Drive folder or a ZIP upload.

A credit pays for what SeasonLaunch builds: one credit builds one slide of a presentation. Order Forms are metered too — when you first view or download a buyer's order, 10 credits are charged per distinct style-and-colour line item on it. New accounts get 50 free credits to start, credits never expire and there is no subscription. See pricing.

No. SeasonLaunch asks for read-only access to your products only: it reads products, variants, images and metafields, and never writes anything back to your store. It does not request access to your customers or your orders.

After you install the app from the Shopify App Store, you choose the products to include, and SeasonLaunch builds your presentations, linesheets and Order Forms from their data and images — there is nothing to upload. While the app is in use, SeasonLaunch's own data and image upload options are switched off, so your store stays the single source of truth for your product information.

Yes. When you install the app you can either create a new SeasonLaunch account from within Shopify or sign in with your existing SeasonLaunch login. If you use your existing login, your account is connected to your Shopify store.

Yes. The credits already in your SeasonLaunch account stay in your account when you connect it to your Shopify store.

Once your account is connected to Shopify, new credits can only be purchased through Shopify, and the purchase is billed by Shopify.

Credit packs bought directly on SeasonLaunch are billed in euros (EUR). If you use the Shopify app, you can also be billed in US dollars (USD) — USD billing is available through the Shopify app only. See pricing for the pack prices in both currencies.

Yes, at any time. After disconnecting you can buy credits through SeasonLaunch's own checkout again. The trade-off is that SeasonLaunch can no longer use the product data and images in your Shopify store, so you build your presentations and Order Forms from your own uploads — Excel, plus photos via links, Google Drive or ZIP — as you would when using SeasonLaunch independently.

Presentations you have already built from your Shopify data stay in your SeasonLaunch account and remain usable. What changes is that SeasonLaunch can no longer read your store, so you can't build new presentations from your Shopify product data and images.

SeasonLaunch stops accessing your store as soon as Shopify tells us the app has been uninstalled, and the stored connection to your shop is deleted when Shopify sends its follow-up shop-erasure request. Presentations and Order Forms you have already created stay in your SeasonLaunch account like any other, and are kept as described in our Privacy Policy.

In the Shopify app you have three options: read them from a Shopify metafield, apply a fixed percentage of the retail price, or enter prices yourself per product. To use a metafield, create a numeric variant metafield in Shopify admin first and then select it in SeasonLaunch — SeasonLaunch never creates or changes metafields in your store.

No. Each Order Form is a unique link; anyone you share it with can browse your presentation and place an order without creating an account. Once an order is submitted it locks, so it can't be changed by accident. Read how buyer order collection works.

Yes. Set a maximum available quantity for each product size on your Order Form and change it at any time. As submitted orders use up the quantity, the amount remaining goes down, so you avoid overbooking.

Yes. Deactivate an Order Form at any time — its link stops working for buyers — and reactivate it when you are ready.

Yes. At the personalization step you can add a Terms & Conditions slide with your minimum order value and quantity, delivery window, payment terms and currency, offer validity, volume discounts and any additional terms. It is added as the last slide of your presentation and is also shown in your Order Form, styled with your branding.
